Cool Spaceship at Aster Coffee Lounge

The first show of Cool Spaceship designs is now up at Aster Coffee Lounge in Ballard. More shots of the exhibit at Aster can be found here on Flickr.

The reception will be on the 12th of December which is with happy hour prices on beer and wine during the Ballard Artwalk, with prepared shirts on hand with these 8 new designs for sale.

Toothy Design Makes it in Top Submissions

So I was invited to submit a t-shirt design to a Artsprojekt LABZ 0001 contest. I slid it in just under the wire and even though I didn't win, I was put into the Top Submissions catagory. Which is pretty good. Out of 1000+ submissions that appear on their Flickr set, there were only 320 chosen for the Top Submissions.

Here's what I put together for them.

The template given out to put your design on didn't allow you to move the long sleeve out of the way from the front of the shirt. I didn't want to manipulate the template, in case they were fussy. So that's why it looks funny above.

The Toothy Laff design was based off of this drawing that I did at a Friends of the Nib meeting where we had to do a drawing based on the word "Toothy".

New T-shirt Designs for Kick Me

To go along with the Kick Me graphic novel anthology that I've published on Cafe Press I have t-shirts and other fun merch.

I just designed a new shirt for the hell of it. It's a colorized version of the contents page in the book. It really sums up the depressive heart breaking feeling I tried to convey in the comics.
