Poster for the Young Sportsmen

So here's a poster that I designed for the Young Sportsmen. It's stirring up a lot of excitement and it hasn't even been printed yet.

If you're in Seattle, check out the show at the Sunset Tavern. They're going to be releasing their new CD that night as well.

Older Comic Strips

So these are just some older strips that I did long ago in my sketchbook. Dig my current daily strip: the Lair of the Psychic Creature if you haven't yet.

New! Animation!

Maldives Artwork

So I've been doing some more poster art for the Maldives. This time for their summer tour down in California and Oregon. Jason came to me with the idea to do a poster that would be an homage to a Time magazine cover done by Bob Peak. It was of The Band. Here's what I came up with and the original cover is below that.

Then Jason wanted a t-shirt design featuring one of my own ideas. So I came up with this. It's possibly going to end up on beer cosies too.

Space Sickness

This was a sort of exercise that I did before the daily comic. I started a new sketch book with this. I wanted to keep the story going on every page. Not planning anything or sketching. Just push the pen across the paper. Of course this ended quickly and I decided to do the Lair of the Psychic Creature instead.

Video by Clear Days Always

So this is a video and piece of music that Clear Days Always did. I don't know why exactly, but it's sort of flattering? It features a bunch of photos that I took. Some I didn't.

There's also a remix of this song at the myspace for a band called Ling Ling.

Toys and sculptures

This is "Tentacle Dad". Custom figure made from Harry Potter and a guy from Monsters Inc.

So last summer I really got into the idea of sculpting and making toys. Jumping on the bandwagon of custom and art toys. Here are a few pieces that actually worked. Some were gifts and some were just for my own pleasure. I hope to keep this up. But you know... there's only so many burners that I can put stuff on. Check out my Flickr site to read more about them.

This was a piece that I made for a fellow employee for Christmas.

These are the outside and inside views of a piece that I sculpted out of scuply based on Heather Walde's drawings.

This is a guy called "Bashitor". He was inspired by the monsters that hero's fight in Japanese live action shows.
